Pricing
What you actually pay
Talstor
Priced only by how many people use it. Free up to 10 employees, then $15/mo for 25 people, $30/mo for 50 and $60/mo for 100, with custom pricing above that. Every plan includes the whole platform. During beta every plan is free.

A capable free tier for one location, then paid tiers priced per location per month, with payroll charged separately per person. Multi site businesses should price every location before comparing totals.

Honest advantages
The two things we genuinely do better
1. Every feature on every plan
Homebase reserves the useful operational tools, such as advanced scheduling, time off policies and deeper reporting, for higher tiers. Talstor ships all of it to a two person account. You are only ever paying for how many people are in the system.
2. The work you bill for, not just the hours
Talstor tracks customers, estimates, work orders, job costs and invoices next to the time clock. For any business that quotes work, that is the difference between knowing your labour hours and knowing whether the job made money.
Where they win
Where Homebase is the better buy
Homebase runs payroll, posts jobs and screens applicants, and it integrates with the point of sale systems restaurants and shops already use. Talstor does none of those things. If you want one vendor for hiring and payroll in a single location business, Homebase is the more complete answer today.
